Mikkel Berthelsen
Founder & Principal
Mikkel brings over 20 years of experience in infrastructure finance, deal structuring and project origination across renewable energy, defence and digital infrastructure. He has built and led large-scale infrastructure investment platforms with a global reach, transacting assets worth more than €5bn across 25+ countries.
Prior to founding Berthelsen Infrastructure, Mikkel served as Partner and Chief Acquisition Officer at Obton, one of Scandinavia's leading infrastructure investment platforms. Earlier in his career, Mikkel worked at Vestas as Commercial Lead Negotiator, and before that practised as a Commercial Lawyer at tier 1 law firms in Denmark and the United States — giving him a rare combination of legal, commercial and transactional depth that underpins his approach to complex deals.
He is known for his ability to think creatively, navigate complexity and build the trust-based relationships that close difficult deals.
