Berthelsen Infrastructure is an independent advisory and investment platform built on more than two decades of hands-on experience in infrastructure finance, M&A and cross-border deal execution.
We work with investors, asset owners, developers and strategic buyers and sellers globally to originate, structure and execute transactions in critical infrastructure — with a particular focus on renewable energy, energy storage, power generation and digital infrastructure.

Mikkel Berthelsen
Founder & Managing Director
Mikkel brings over 20 years of experience in infrastructure finance, deal structuring and project origination across renewable energy, energy storage and digital infrastructure. He has built and led large-scale infrastructure investment platforms with a global reach, transacting assets worth more than €5bn across 25+ countries.
Prior to founding Berthelsen Infrastructure, Mikkel served as Partner and Chief Acquisition Officer at Obton, one of Scandinavia's leading infrastructure investment platforms. Earlier in his career, Mikkel worked at Vestas as Commercial Lead Negotiator, and before that practised as a Commercial Lawyer at tier 1 law firms in Denmark and the United States — giving him a rare combination of legal, commercial and transactional depth that underpins his approach to complex deals.
He is known for his ability to think creatively, navigate complexity and build the trust-based relationships that close difficult deals.
